Sausage in yorkshire pudding


Ingredients
2 sausages, chopped
1 giant yorkshire pudding
Half an onion, chopped
Beef stock cube

1. Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F / gas 6

2. Fry the sausage and onion until both are cooked

3. Dissolve the stock cube in 250ml water, stir and pour over the sausage and onion

4. Simmer and stir frequently until the liquid thickens into gravy.

5. Meanwhile bake the yorkshire pudding for 7-10 minutes until cooked

6. Put the yorkshire pudding on a plate and pour the sausage, onions and gravy into it

Serves 1

Ginger biscuits


Ingredients
200g self raising flour
100g sugar
75g butter
2 tsp ginger powder
4 tbsp golden syrup
1 egg, beaten

1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F / gas 4

2. Mix the flour, sugar and ginger powder in a bowl

3. Rub in the butter to make breadcrumbs

4. Add the golden syrup and egg and mix well

5. Place lumps of the mixture on a greased baking tray and bake for 15-20 mins until brown

Cauliflower cheese with bacon


Ingredients
100g cauliflower, chopped
4 slices bacon, chopped
Half an onion, chopped
1 packet cheese sauce mix
30g cheddar cheese, grated

1. Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F / gas 6. 

2. Fry the cauliflower, bacon and onion until everything is cooked

3. Make the cheese sauce (packet instructions)

4. Put the cauliflower, bacon and onion in a baking dish and pour the cheese sauce over

5. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top

6. Bake for 25-30 minutes
